1 - Log in to Private Office:

  • A. Enter the URL private-office.myrealpage.com
  • B. Enter your username (the email address you used when signing up).
  • C. Enter your password (which you chose during the sign-up process).
  • D. Click Login.



2 - From the Dashboard:

  • A. Click the Website tab.
  • B. Click All Web Pages.



3 - From the Web Pages list:

  • A. Locate the page you want to add  the RSS feed to.
  • B. Click on Page Editor.



4 - On the page you are editing:

  • A. You can click on the + buttons on the left side of the Edit this button to add a weblet above or below that current weblet. OR
  • B. You can click on the +Add content here button to add a weblet in that position.



5 - In the pop up:

  • A. Click on the Show all available weblets... button.



6 - From The Weblet Selection Window:

  • A. In the search box on the upper right corner of the weblet selection widow, search for "RSS."
  • B. Click on the RSS (News) Feed weblet box.




From this point, you can choose to add an RSS feed in three ways:



• Using Your Web Pages • 


Some weblets on your websites are capable of generating RSS feeds. For example, your Blog, Testimonials, Awards, Reports, Snippets can generate RSS feeds. You can choose a page that contains one of these weblets as the source of your RSS feed. Please be sure to test the feed by clicking the "Open Feed URL" button once you pick a page, to make sure that the page's RSS feed works.


7a - In the RSS set up window

  • A. In the Feed URL area, click on the Your Web Pages link.



8a - In the Select RSS Feed window

  • A. Select the page you want to create the feed for.
  • B. Select if the RSS feed should show images, and how the images will be aligned.
  • C. Once you're done, click on the OK button.

• Using Your Listings • 

7b - In the RSS set up window

  • A. In the Feed URL area, click on the Your Listings link.



8b - In the Select RSS Feed window


  • A. Select the your preferred listings source from the drop down menu.
  • B. Select if the RSS feed should show images, how the images will be aligned, and how wide the images should be displayed (measured in pixels).
  • C. Once you're done, click on the OK button.

FINISHING UP YOUR RSS WEBLET

  • A. Make sure that the Feed URL line has a valid feed URL in it.
  • B. Click on the Open Feed URL button to test that the URL works.
  • C. Customize how your RSS Feed will be presented.
  • D. Customize your Item Link Label. This is the piece of text that readers can click on so they can be taken to the source of the feed (such as your blog or your listing).
  • E. More customization options.
  • F. Once you're done, click on the Save Weblet button.
