1 - Log in to Private Office:

  • A. Enter the URL private-office.myrealpage.com
  • B. Enter your username (the email address you used when signing up).
  • C. Enter your password (which you chose during the sign-up process).
  • D. Click Login.


2 - From the dashboard:

  • A. Click on the Website tab.
  • B. Click on the Blog Center icon.



3 - From the Blog Posts page:

  • A. Locate the blog post you want to edit, and click the Edit Post link underneath it.




From here, you can add a video by:



• Using just a YouTube link •

4a - From the Blog Post Editor:

  • A. In the blog post, place your cursor in the spot where you want to insert your video. Next, click on the Insert/Edit Embedded Media icon on the toolbar. It's a small icon that looks like a strip of film.



5a - From the Insert/Embed Media Window:

  • A. Paste in the YouTube link in the File/URL field. There are also options for you to adjust the video size and/or alignment.
  • B. Click on the Insert button.



After making edits to your blog post, please always remember to either save or publish your changes.

• Directly embedding a video from a third-party video host (such as YouTube, Vimeo, etc.) using the embed code •


Once you have created your video, it is recommended that you upload it to one of the many video hosting providers online. A few examples of such services include:


You can also use social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, as long as the post is set to public and you can generate an embed code on that site.


These respective websites offer extensive help and resources on topics such as how to upload videos, and how to get the embed code that you can use to share your video with. Please consult the video host's support area for these materials.


Once you have uploaded your video to your video host of choice, locate your embed code for your video, and follow the steps below. 


4b - From the Blog Post Editor:

  • Have your video embed code ready! 
  • A. On the text editor's toolbar, click on the Edit HTML Source icon. It's a small icon with the letters "HTML" on it.



5b - In the HTML Source Editor Window:

  • Place your cursor on the spot in your blog post where you want to add your video. In this example, we will add a YouTube video to the bottom of the blog post.
  • A. Once your cursor is on the right spot, paste in your video embed code.
  • B. Click on the Update button.



6b - (Optional) Aligning or Resizing your video, part 1:

  • A. Your video should now appear in your blog post draft as yellow square. Click on this square to select it.
  • B. Once the square has been selected, click on the Insert/Edit Embedded Media icon on the toolbar. It's a small icon that looks like a strip of film.




6b - (Optional) Aligning or Resizing your video, part 2:

  • The Insert/Edit Embedded Media window will open. From here, you can change the size and/or alignment of your video.



After making edits to your blog post, please always remember to either save or publish your changes.

• Adding a Video that is in your myRealPage Web-Drive •

4c - From the Blog Post Editor:

  • A. In the blog post, place your cursor in the spot where you want to insert your video. Next, click on the Insert/Edit Embedded Media icon on the toolbar. It's a small icon that looks like a strip of film.




5c - From the Insert/Embed Media Window:

  • A. Select Iframe from the drop down menu.
  • B. Click on the Browse link. This will open up your Web-Drive.
  • C. Once your Web-Drive window is open, navigate to where your video has been uploaded. Click on it to select it. If your image hasn't been uploaded yet, click here for instructions on how to upload files to your Web-Drive.
  • D. Click on the OK button.



6c - Inserting your video into the blog post:

  • A. Back at the Insert/Edit Embedded Media video window, you will see a preview of your video. There are also options to resize it or change it's alignment.
  • B. Once you're satisfied with it, click on the Insert button.




After making edits to your blog post, please always remember to either save or publish your changes.
