Sometimes you want to move over some content into your website from another website or document.

However, because of the Rich Text and WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) nature of the Text Editor function in Private Office, copying from a source and pasting it directly into the text editor will end up with the original formatting carrying over as well. This means that it will carry over fonts, font sizes, font colors, paragraph alignments, etc. This can be annoying and/or problematic if you have your own layout and colors in mind.

In order to avoid this, the text needs to "shake off" the formatting first. Basically, you will copy the formatted text from its original source, and then paste it into a plain text editor.

Since plain text editors don't have the capability to display advanced formatting options, you tend to be left with just the text. It "shakes it off." You can then re-copy this fresh text, and paste it into your own website. Since it has no pre-determined formatting anymore, it will now follow whatever format you already have on your own website, giving your webpages a regular, unified look.
